FPB Series Portable Abrasive Blasters
The DB Series is ideal for shorter cycle times and for those new to mass finishing. Two different sizes are available for large and small batch sizes. Economical and durable, the DB Series are one of our most popular vibratory tumblers.
The FPB Series Portable Abrasive Blasters are engineered for industrial surface preparation, coating removal, cleaning, and production blasting applications where reliability and productivity are critical. Designed for demanding field and shop environments, the FPB Series combines heavy-duty construction, high operating pressures, and complete blasting packages to deliver dependable performance across a wide range of abrasive blasting applications.
Available in 1.5, 3.5, and 6.5 cubic foot capacities, FPB Series systems utilize a Pressure Release (SPR) design that automatically depressurizes the vessel when blasting stops. This system design provides simple operation, reduced maintenance complexity, and dependable performance for both experienced operators and first-time blasting users.
Designed to operate at pressures up to 150 PSI, the FPB Series supports high-production abrasive blasting while maintaining consistent abrasive flow and operator control. These systems are compatible with a wide range of blasting abrasives including aluminum oxide, garnet, crushed glass, steel grit, glass bead, walnut shell, and other specialty media.
Heavy-Duty Construction for Industrial Blasting
The FPB Series is built using industrial-grade components designed to withstand continuous blasting environments. Heavy-wall piping, galvanized pipe assemblies, durable powder coated pressure vessels, and high-quality metering systems help ensure long service life and consistent operation in demanding applications.
Additional design features include:
- Full-port ball valves that help maximize airflow and blasting efficiency
- Moisture separator systems to help reduce contamination from wet compressed air
- Pneumatic remote control systems for operator safety and blasting control
- Durable wheel-mounted portable design for improved mobility around job sites
- Simplified maintenance access for faster service and reduced downtime
- High-flow abrasive metering systems for consistent media delivery
The Pressure Release system design also provides automatic vessel blow-down when the control handle is released, helping simplify operation and making the system well-suited for general industrial blasting applications, blast rooms, and contractor use.
