April 2026
To our valued customers,
We want to keep you informed about ongoing market conditions that are impacting the surface finishing and abrasive supply chain. Recent global disruptions are creating volatility across all of our raw materials and packaging inputs. In addition, freight costs and availability continue to fluctuate, affecting both inbound materials and outbound shipments.
As a result, manufacturers across our industry are issuing frequent price adjustments, and we expect these conditions to persist in the near term. Lead times for certain products may also become less predictable as supply chains adjust.
At Kramer Industries, our priority is to support your operations with consistency, transparency, and practical solutions. We are actively working with our supplier network, optimizing inventory positions, and leveraging our logistics relationships to minimize disruptions wherever possible.
However, given the pace and frequency of cost changes, we need to temporarily adjust how pricing is managed:
- Pricing may be updated on a more frequent basis to reflect changes in raw material, manufacturing, and freight costs.
- Orders will be invoiced based on pricing at the time of order entry, unless extended lead times or unique sourcing conditions require review. In those cases, our team will communicate directly with you before any adjustments are made.
These changes are not something we take lightly. Our goal is not simply to pass along increases, but to manage them responsibly while continuing to deliver the performance, consistency, and technical support you expect from Kramer.
Just as important, we remain focused on helping you control your total process cost. In many cases, adjustments to media type, grit size, equipment setup, or process parameters can offset rising material costs. If you are seeing pressure on your finishing or blasting operations, our team is available to help evaluate alternatives and identify efficiencies.
We expect to return to a more stable pricing structure once market conditions normalize.
We appreciate your continued trust and the opportunity to support your business.
Thank you for your patience and understanding,
Steven Schneider, CEO
Kramer Industries, Inc.
